Processing Centre's Capacity/Capability
Arcis has the resources, expertise, and state-of-the-art technology to process today's large, structurally complex data volumes.
One of the strengths of a processing center is its' hardware.
Arcis is continually working to improve the capacity of our
hardware system to meet the growing needs of our clients. We
have designed a cluster computing environment around SUN
Microsystems 1U nodes, to meet those needs.
The
system is powered by the 64 bit AMD Opteron ™ dual-core processor.
All processing is done disk to disk via fibre networks using cluster
disk systems and back up is via SDLT robotic tape library or
cluster disk storage systems.
